So Day 3 started out early. Once again, Ash and mom set up a super early safari breakfast. So we set the alarms and headed out the door. We got there just in time for Mickey and Goofy to arrived.
Hadleigh and Kiernan are discussing the day's events.
It is pure chaos when the characters come out. I feel like the kids are on cloud nine for the brief moment and all the planning is worth it. Look at those smiles.
Ash made a neat signature book that caught the kids attention immediately. Every chance they could get they brought them out and were asking for signatures. They had markers ready at all times. Gavin is feverishly looking in his book for safari mickey. Opps!! I think we forgot that one. Oh well Gavin have him sign it anywhere.

Kiernan didn't last a second. He took a great nap instead of looking at the animals.
We had a great time and rode lots of rides. We went in the fast pass line to the Dinosaur ride. We thought it was going to be great..... Look at those mean dinosaur faces. Yeah they are ready for this one..... NO NO NO NO NO..... As we were getting on the ride Rocco got put in the wrong seat and started screaming. Finally, he calmed down as the mean dinosaurs began to appear. All was well until Jillian started to bury her face deeper and deeper into Ashley's lap. It was awful. I felt like we had tormented the kids. Lesson learned that some rides are just for older kids and it is okay to make the younger ones wait. Guess that makes a good reason to come again.
One of our favorites though, was the water ride. It was all but one minute long but super fun.
Now a little background on the next adventure is that when we were planning the trip I really took a back seat to Ash and mom. They are great vacation planners and so I let them do there thing. But there was one place that really peaked my interest and I thought was right up the boys alley. It was a dinner at the T-REX!! When we got online to book a table they were completely full. I was devastated. I don't know why I was so upset but I was definitely bummed for the boys.
We decided to go to Downtown Disney and check things out. When we got there we could see the TREX and I got sad all over again. Bill decided to go up to the hostess just to see what he could do. Remember we have a group of 12. Not really easily accomatable. But my husband hooked it up. I think he showed a little chicken leg. Gets the girls every time. She asked if the whole party was present and Bill said YYYEEEESSSSS!!!! She said RIGHT THIS WAY!!!!!
WE WERE IN!!!!!
It was all I had dreamed of. I felt like everyone was in such a good mood and we all packed in a tiny table for six and had the time of our lives. It didn't hurt that the food was delicious and the dessert was to die for. Can't believe the one thing I really wanted to do we actually got to do it!
Outside the huge legoland displays were so neat. Yes, that big woody and buzz is all legos.

When we got back to the hotel Rocco was peacefully taking a bath when two babies wanted to jump in. They got there wish!
