We headed down to Port A because Sandfest was taking over the island. We had such a fun time last year that we had to go back. We got there on Friday and picked up mom and dad to head out on the boat. We went to our regular spot but had very little luck. Mom and Dad threw out a few cast but no one was catching. I had seen people stop at this spot on the other side so we decided to go try it out for ourselves.

We ended up tying up to this post. We didn't think we were doing anything wrong and we began to fish. Mom was super cold so she buried herself down in the bottom of the boat. We had just got settled in when......

the Game Warden boat comes strolling up. They yell to us to reel in. WHAT!?! I was so nervous. They then ask us for our licenses. (Bill and I both thought dad didn't have one but luckily he did.) So then Bill and I start digging for ours. I find mine right away and Bill began scrambling through his wallet for his. Finally, he found it! Then they checked the life vests. They checked the sizes. Luckily, we hadn't accidentally grabbed one of the boys. They then became really nice since they figured we were no threat. We talked some fishing talk and then I was happy to see them drive away.

Once they left I landed a nice 16.5 sheep head. It was a fun fight but I let him live. I am in the catch and release program this year. We kept a lot last year and Bill and I never ate it so this year I'm letting them go. Plus, I figure the less I keep the higher the chance that I will catch more fish.

That night Ash and the kids came down too. We headed out early to the beach to check things out. The one that made me laugh was these two guys. This was there spin off on the Tiger
W@@ds scandal. The back said "One Hole Too Many". The front had Tiger's foot caught in a mouse trap. LOL!

I absolutely love the castles!

And the beautiful mermaid.

All in all we had a great time. We met up with some family friends and had dinner with them at the house. We hadn't seen them in awhile so we were able to catch up.

On Sunday we headed back to try and beat the traffic. Our plans were halted when we got behind this house. It took forever to get the house over the narrow bridge. Not sure who the foreman was on that job but definitely wasn't thinking about all the traffic going home from Sandfest.

We are now at home watching the Masters.
