Easter 2013

Oh how precious these three boys are to me. They make my heart melt. I love getting them all dressed up.
We went down to GG's house this year for her birthday. We had a nice visit down south. We sat and ate under her huge oak tree. The kids got to run around and play. There was tons of family that came so it was nice to see everyone.
Look at this sweet group of cousins. <3 p="" them="">
And here is our sweet little family of 5.
I couldn't help but look back and see what my boys looked like this time last year.

Rangers

Rangers landed in SA for the weekend and transformed the Alamodome to a baseball diamond. They did a great job. We had so much fun and really got into the Ranger spirit. We also had great seats on Friday. We left Kiernan behind since it was a late game and it allowed us to spend some time with the older boys.
But we came back on Saturday and introduced KK to a little baseball. We found found the Mission's jalapeno.
Look at these seats. If I was going to review watching baseball on the Alamodome, I would have to say, for me, I just need to have baseball outside. So I think they need to cut a small hole in the top and then it would be perfect.
Here is my cutie with his game face on.

Palm Sunday

We went to my mom's church for Palm Sunday. Jillian was singing in the choir and they were having the egg hunt after the service. I wanted KK to get in the Easter spirit and also hang out with his cousins.
Kiernan was sort of interested in picking up eggs. I think he grabbed about 11 and then just looked around. It was so windy outside. KK and Hadleigh were in the baby section.
Sweet picture before we went out. Love him.
Sweet pictures with the older cousins.
 Handsome!!
We somehow managed to get them all together for a group photo. We did miss Roy and Gavin this year. We will get them for Easter with all of the family. That will be nice. I am trying to do a scavenger hunt for them.

Roy & Gavin's Birthdays

We only get to see the boys for two hours on their birthday so we decided to surprise them with a party. It was going to be quick but at least everyone could be there to see them and we could make what little time we had very special.
All the neighborhood girls came over and began decorating. We decided these boys needed a little BEIBER party. LOL!!!! I knew Roy would be in good spirits about it.
Even KK got into the decorating.
My mother made Gavin a race car cake. Here we are with our 7 year old. Can't believe he is 7.
And here is our teenager. I can't believe he is 13.
Kiernan needed to make sure the boys were behaving around the cakes.
The boys loved the decorations and laughed at the beiberness. They played out back with all the neighborhood kids. We ate pizza and cake. Then the boys opened gifts. Bill snuck out to take them back so that KK didn't get upset. Bill said when he took them home they both said they had a blast and loved their gifts. Another year passed and somehow I pulled off another fun birthday for them.

Spring Break

This Spring Break we do not have the boys so it is a little quiet around the house. Luckily we got a special invite to meet my sister down at the Whitte for the Dinosaur exhibit.
KK wasn't too sure that the elephant wasn't going to take off on him.
I was really nervous to take Kiernan here because I was afraid I was going to traumatize him and scare him to wear he would be attached to my leg the rest of his life. Boy was I completely wrong. The kiddos loved "digging" for Dinosaur bones.
Here they are checking out the dinosaurs. KK kept screaming their MOVING!!
After the exhibit we headed over to the play house. KK loved the lighted play area. He followed and jumped on the lights for hours.
I had lots of fun and so did KK. It is nice to have a little extra family time. My sister is so busy during school so I like when the breaks come so we get to go on some adventures.

Fishing February

February is my husband's birth month so it just so happens that we planned three weekends in a row to go fishing. WOW. Talk about overload. Can't wait for my birth month. :) I rented a little house on Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels and invited all our friends. It was the best cabin ever.
We got their first and because it was almost dark, Bill was in a rush to throw a hook in the water. Literally four casts in, he hooks the biggest bass that I have ever witnessed being caught. THE THINK WAS HUGE!!!!
I planned each couple to be in charge of certain meals. John and Lisa were in charge of doing a seafood boil Saturday night. It was amazing. They had sausages, potatoes and biscuits. They had corn, shrimp and crab legs. Absolutely the best meal that I have had in a long time. It was so fun to just throw all the food on the table and go at it. YUMMY!!
The next weekend we left for Dallas to visit Uncle John and Aunt Beverly. Roy caught a fish right away.
On Saturday, we visited Legoland with some friends. The boys had a blast. I would give it a B-. I just needed a little more but the boys loved it.
 KK on his Lego giraffe.
The boys at the 4D movie. It was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud.
My favorite part was Miniland which included all of Dallas sites in legos. Here is the big Jerry Land replica. So Cool!!
And our arch rival Dirk. Grrrr!!!!
We had lots of fun at night playing pool. Everyone got in on the fun.
Finally, last night Bill had some functions and so I had the three boys by myself. Both boys were grounded because of behavior at school so I had to get creative because we were stir crazy. We started out back playing on the swings and throwing the balls with the dogs. KK and Gavin had a long fun bath!
Then they curled up to watch a little Toy Story.

Roy relaxed with his headphones and a little Duck Dynasty!

My last report so far on February is that our little man is potty training and he is so good at it. I can't believe it. He no longer poops in the diaper. He comes and tells us almost every time. If he does go in his pants he wants to be changed immediately. We are now working on peepee in the potty. I am amazed at how smart this little guy is. He loves to learn and do what every one else is doing.

This weekend we are headed to the coast for some salt water fishing with Candace and George. Should be a blast!! Hopefully I can blog a little more frequent. I feel like I am so busy!

January Flew

Handsome baby boy turned 19 months. He is still super cute and gets tons of attention from everyone everywhere we go. I am ok with that. He is learning all kinds of things every day. He completely understands what we tell him. He loves to make you laugh and looks out of the corner of his eyes to see if I am watching him. He adores with older brothers but has a special place in his heart for Roy.
I have been trying to dress up more lately. Just to feel a little better about myself. I use to straighten my hair but recently I have had a little more success with the curling iron. I have had lots of comments. I feel like life is super busy right now but I want to make sure that I am still taking care of me. I am still trying to get out and exercise but time is always an issue.
Last time we cleaned out the garage I made a little work bench for Bill. He likes to "tinker" with things so I thought it would give him some space. He has loved it and works out there in the garage after work. KK loves to watch him and check out what is going on.
Roy had his last basketball game and did very well this season. I want him to work really hard from now until next season so he can make the A team. He is always out shooting hoops. He got a lot better on defense and did well running the team as the point guard.
We have made some new friends and we went bowling last weekend. I hadn't been there in forever. It was fun and I am still horrible. Bill loves it because he can kick my butt. He use to be in a league. Cracks me Up!!!
We have had some really good weekends with the boys in January. Lots of family time and just playing around at the house. He had a dart board game that was magnets that we used to use as a tongue ring.
They all had to try it out.
January came and went and on to February!!

UGH!!! Now it won't let me load any pictures

Well I wanted to post pictures today but it is not letting me. SO FRUSTRATING. Thursday night, Roy played in his basketball game. They won big and Roy played great defense and had lots of assist. Friday night we went bowling with some friends. We got a lane for two hours. We were exhausted by 1 and a half hours. Guess we aren't the big party goers anymore. Then this morning Gavin had a basketball game. They won too!! I am desperately trying to get KK down for a nap because my sister is having the kiddos party this afternoon. He needs a nap!!!!! I will keep wrestling with this blogger. I specifically started taking my camera everywhere again so I can continue with this blog. :(

Finally Back on the Normal Schedule

Well finally...... I thought this day would never come. The boys have been gone, basically, since the day after Christmas. It was the weird calendar this year and the weird schedule of things that it just worked out that way. Now school is back in session and we finally get a weekend together to go do some fun things. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Kiernan asks every day for the boys and finally this morning I told him, " Yes, Gavin and I will pick you up today and then we will go watch Roy's basketball game." You would have thought I sent him directly into a candy coma. He was on cloud 9.

I am off to get Gavin and then the long weekend can begin. Plus, we get an extra day with them because of the holiday on Monday! Super fun! We will be bowling Friday night and then my sister's kids all got a year older so party time on Saturday!! I'll bring out the camera this weekend and get some cute shots of the boys.

Reason for my absence

Yes. I do realize that I have not updated since November 2012. Of course I had a million things to upload and tell you about me, my husband and my three wonderful boys but I decided to BOYCOTT blogger. I was totally irritated that they claim my memory is full and I have to delete my old posts and pictures. UGH!!! Really?? You never know when I might want to go back to the beginning and check out my life. I was mad and LAZY and did not want this headache.
I thought for sure if I quit blogging then blogger would come up with some magical thing to make MY issue go away. It never did. I am super busy and a lot of times feel I don't have time for my blog but a part of me does want to keep it going.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo....... I stumbled upon the greatest thing in the universe and I think it is a way to get me back to blogger. This website called blurb has a way to import your entire blog into their software and create a book. You see.... that is exactly what I want. This way I can delete the old posts once they get printed in a book. Then my memories are secure. Now I have not downloaded or tried to do it yet but I am excited about the possibilities and thus brings me back to the blog world. I mean my kids are just too cute not to tell the world about.
Each year I make a photo booklet anyway and try to include something from every month of the year. I love these books that I make but they really are not in detail and really skip some good parts. Plus. I am not able to write in detail on the year BUT if I was able to use my blog to make the yearly book then it will have my favorite pictures and my stories to go along with it. This may even give me inspiration to be a little more frequent in the blogging world. We shall see. Guess I better get to blogging!!!
