We saw Ronald McDonald. I use to be a person who would just wave and point at him but not anymore. I ran over with the kids and snapped a picture.
We got there pretty early to join in on all the festivities. My mom went and got her "Survivor" photo taken. The reason we are out there today: MY MOM!
Ash and B had a rough morning getting down there but we waited for them and finally got to head out on our 5K!
Look at all the folks!
Bill and Gavin went over and had the announcer give Grammie a little shout out!
I was in charge of keeping Gavin and Jillian entertained. It was hard to keep those two in the stroller so when they tried to get out, I sent the stroller on two wheels.
Here is G and J discussing the Cure. I think they have a good plan. We are all hoping it happens sooner than later.
Mom finally crosses the finish line. I am so thankful we all were able to participate in this awesome day to celebrate my mom.Favorite Sayings of the Day:
1) Walking for Grammie's Mammies
2) Save the Ta Tas
3) Fight like a Girl
4) Taking the Girls for a Walk
One guy's shirt said, " My girl has TEXAS Ta Tas!"
And finally there was a baby with a onesie that said, "Save the Milk Machines!"
Very well put! To all the people effected by cancer I hope today was a special day.
